THAU BASIN
The Thau Basin invites you to discover the only forest space on the coast which is the Massif de la Gardiole. A discovery of natural spaces, the Thau Pond and its oyster farms, ponds which stake out the coast, kingdom of the seagulls, pink flamingoes and ducks. The Thau Pond is a small inland sea with its beaches, harbors (Balaruc les Bains, Bouzigues, Meze, Marseillan), its fleet, its fishermen.

SÈTE
Sete... The port (first fishing port on the mediterranee), the Mont St Clair which summit which is 183 meters high and offers a 360° panoramic view on its beaches which stretch on 12 km in a protected natural site. Sete draws up itself between the Mediterranean Sea and Thau's pond; it is from this geographic peculiarity that Sete took its authenticity and its exceptional character. As far as the pond is concerned, it is an immense wild roselière: birds paradise, white aigrettes or pink flamingos fly together.

HAUT LANGUEDOC NATURAL REGIONAL PARK
Created in 1973, soon after the Cevennes National Park, the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park reveals its trumps : Heric Gorges, Caroux and Espinouze massifs. Its head office is in Saint Pons de Thomières, in the Herault Department. This High Valley is an enchantment for savage fauna lovers. They might meet mouflons, brought there in 1930, which are more than a thousand nowadays.

CEVENNES NATIONAL PARK
Here, nature has kept its rights. The Cevennes National Park is classified " World Biosphere reserve " in 1985 by the UNESCO. As far as flora is concerned, more than two thousand species are listed. Wild boars, deers and roe deers live in the forests, wildcats vultures and monks vultures fly over great landscapes.
